Hey Rande..why is it you say this time is different...I went to all cash before FOMC and wanted to go short real bad but I am still uncomfortable playing short side.. I need to develop that skill...but why would you be long here? It does seem to me that a retest of the low is imminent at this point and the uncertainty over the election will persist.. no fed help.. What are you seeing to support the long side here. Just wondering as I value your insight..

Yes ... my thinking was that it appears that the long period of soft/poor volatility put a lot of income deriving daytraders out of business..the same people who created mania in stocks and "holidility" --- if this is a true statement then one has to assume that returning to days of yore will not materialize as there is no one (not enough people) around to create the inertia.....and the "piggy-back" newbies and lurkers are too scared to rejoin having lost a lot...

So, is this true??

Looking at rats, WJ observed just recently that although there are some popping those are solid (semi-solid) companies popping on news .... need to continue to watch to see if this continues.
