LATEST POLL - Public says wait for the recount An NBC-Wall Street Journal poll released Tuesday found that most of those voters surveyed believe it is too early to declare a winner in Florida and are willing to wait for more accurate results — even if the process takes several weeks. When asked whether it would be better to name a victor in Florida now or recount the ballots even if it takes several weeks, 55 percent of those polled on Monday said it would be better to wait. Fifty-six percent said the situation will be resolved before it turns into a constitutional crisis, compared with 8 percent who said the situation already is a crisis. msnbc.com
