Tom DeLay has been reading the election returns. Last night, I watched the Republican House leadership press conference. DeLay immediately began talking about the House passing a prescription drug benefit. Now, there is a part of the Clinton-Gore legacy.

Why should Oregon or New Mexico votes mean more than any other votes? Are you saying that only by chance should your vote matter according to what state you live in at a certain time in your life? In the old days people generally stayed in one place all their lives unless they moved west. Nowadays half the people move and keep moving depending on where the work is, or where they retire or study. Their movements should not dictate the value of their presidential vote.
