We don't live in a democracy. It's a republic.

that is both a factual and statistical impossibility

someone will find a way to screw it up!

again the framers were aware of their shortcomings this is why they agreed to the compromise

we disagree.

Yet, you support having legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government. These branches take governance out of the hands of the people, by becoming a proxy for the people. A proxy is not the same as pure democracy (one man, one vote). We do not run the country by referendums on every issue.

We are a democratic republic.
