Mark - thanks, I agree completely. What a civics lesson. Didn't realize that map was in the USA Today earlier - I basically am stuck with the local far left leading local newspaper.

Actually, reminds me of a funny story. As I just stated, the local news paper is very far left leaning. The biggest competing newspaper - a county away, is very far right leaning. They have for the last couple of years been trying to entrench on each others turf. Its been quite funny to watch their battles. For example - the big news the day after the election in the local paper - was the fact that the right leaning paper only put Bush's picture on the front page - and minimized any reference to Gore. Of course, on the other hand, I can just imagine what the far right paper was reporting - most likely the biased reporting of the left leaning paper which attacked Bush and played up Gore.

Pretty amazing the things both of them found newsworthy - LOL
