You get it wrong. The current issue is a manual recount to tally votes that the machines could not read -- no vote for president. The "double punch" and Buchanan votes are not an issue. The "hanging chad" ballots are the issue. The Bush campaign after howling how how wrong it would be to involve the Courts, were the first to run off to Court to stop the manual vote count. This was followed closely by the SOS, "Barbie Doll" Harris going to the FL Supreme Court to stop the manual count. Both efforts failed, but the R's are relentless in their efforts to prevent a tally of the Florida vote.
