John,

I'll ask you the same question I asked before, are the election judges in your state crooked? Or are they folks just trying to do their duty?

I wouldn't say crooked, only that their persona and political agenda comes before their duty.

I would say observation is more accurate that "assumption". The Florida Secretary of State has gone out of her way to put every obstacle she can in the way of a manual count.

By trying to adhere to the deadline in Florida law? Maybe the law should be changed to give more time for manual recount, but as you know, under normal circumstances, you can't change the rules retroactively. (except if you are Clinton or a Democrat Congress who increased taxes retroactively)

The Florida Supreme's seem to disagree with her on Florida law.

Who are 8 Democrat and 1 Independent.

And as a minor point, remember all the judges that recused themselves in the Palm Beach county suits?

Except 1 Republican, I don't know the party affiliation of other judges who recused themselves.

Those folks weren't co-chairman of Bush's campaign.

The Florida AG was Gore co-chairman, and he is running around issuing opinions. He has not recused himself. Jeb Bush, another Republican did. You are asking SOS to do the same. Is there a Republican (except the one who voted for Gor) who you don't want to recuse himself, and is there a Democrat that you do want to recuse himself? (just trying to find out some data points contradicting your Republicans = bad, Democrats = good pattern)

And judges are a lot less political than politicians.

Of course. Because the judges in question are all Democrats.

Joe

PS: You are doing slightly better in your impersonation of impartiality than Ted on the AMD thread... But not by much <g>
