Tony,

your comment is right on target. Because the stock prices of the semis have fallen, people assume THAT represents some sort of "cyclical low", when of course the cycle the cyclical stocks respond to is their business cycle. So the companies' businesses still have shown no sign of weakness, but everyone thinks we are "at the bottom" because the stocks are down.

Tony, I should say that after slight dip we are entering
into second phase of the cycle.
It will be difficult to see sharp distinction
between the bottom and the top, b/c telecom demand is helping to smooth the curve.
The bottom line is AMAT is heading higher from here.
It was up 1-2 $ AH what is a good indication.
