Thanks. I know I am biased towards the stock but it sure seems to show that we have been right... slower growth but not a reduction total earnings, revenues, profits, etc.

I've made the case in the past that too much growth is hard to manage. I believe Carly Fiorina and HWP had that problem where they grew EVERYTHING except the bottom line and suffered for it. Sacrificed too much to get high growth. Slower growth can actually be good for business as you can run more efficiently.

it is no bargain basement stock like it was in '95 and '98 but still pretty cheap considering.

Gottfried, I like the chart you list in your last post. An excellent idea.

Personnally, I would find it clearer if AMAT's price was displayed linearly. Could you possibly create a version like that for the thread?
