Joe, re: The only problem with the Republicans is that because of their sense of fair play, they tend to snatch the defeat from the jaws of victory time after time. Democrats are not burdened by any sense of fairness. The guiding principle is quest for power. You talk like there is some significant difference between Republicans and Democrats, like one party is evil, one good. They are the same, through and through. And each side will say anything you want to hear, and then do what is pragmatic after the election. If you buy in to their BS, you just encourage them. John
