I wasn't aware that Al Gore could make that offer under Florida law. Hand counts have been clearly denounced by the Bush camp, and for them to accept that would go against their clear position on this matter. That is a trap, placed there in order to show an inconsistency in the Bush position (if they were to accept Gore's preposterous offer).
