This is a curious combination
Indeed, My brain is not that big to stuff in all these stuffs:-) It needs time, and I'm not sure I have enough time to investigate into it:-)

HDR system doesn't use CDMA when transmitting the data signal

On forward link only. As a matter of fact HDR is a rather clever idea to combine spread spectrum and time division multiplexing together. Because of this the rate allocation in HDR is very dynamic therefore a very flexible and easy traffic management.

As a matter of fact, we all know there's limit as for how much of data you can pump into certain bandwidth. So spectral efficiency is the magic word. But market don't want to hear that. They want something sexy and easy to understand<ggg>

You know what's ironic is that we usually spend time arguing with GPRS/EDGE, or maybe even WCDMA backers. And MCOM followers choose HDR to attack sort of make us feel good.:-)

As I said I may spend some time to look into microcell technology when I think I have enough time. For right now I will leave the board and thanks for the discussion.

Good luck
