Well, the older I get, the more I realize that there is benefit and good in all the different political parties--and they can complement each other. Provided society is allowed to live under the rule of law, and are never muzzled...people are quite good at finding the best path overall. I used to play the horses, but haven't for about 20 years. I wasn't bad, either. But I was always humbled in the end, to know that the general public, as a group (and by definition average), were able (overall) to pick the winner (and the appropriate odds),consistently better than any one individual. I don't entirely understand this, but I have not forgotten it...
