it wouldn't look good losing the popular vote, and the popular vote in florida as well, and still winning the election. but that is very possible. Who gives a crap. Let's grow up here, this is about winning. Hell, 1/2 the country voted for someone else. I would give a darn what they "think".

NO WAY will the american public opinion crash down on the republicans because the american public realizes there will be invalid ballots at every precinct in every county in every state. Maybe Fl will wise up and learn from this.

Right you are. Harris petitioned the court to stop the hand counting for just that reason. They don't want to know. perhaps an even greater fear, is that the hand recounts will be completed, and gore will show as winner, whether or not they are allowed. if this occurs, and they are not counted in the final tally, american public opinion will crash down on the republicans. i think that's why they are stopping at nothing to prevent a hand recount Her decision to certify now and disallow the hand count was a foregone conclusion. Letting the counties file their reasons for wanting a hand count was all for show. Since the hand counts will probably continue as this moves to the courts, I expect to see her ask a court to not allow the results of the hand count to be made public. But they'll leak. And it could get ugly. ... Mezz -
