Yes I found him a bit stiff too, but I think that may have been partly the emergency of the response--so he was reading off a teleprompter, and it was a bit canned.

I liked him at the end there.

I listened to Bush on the radio in the car. He sounded in control, statesman-like, ready for whatever. Sounded Presidential, unlike Mr. Smarm's utterance earlier tonight during the newshour.
