I believe the Florida Supreme Court Members are considered liberal and somewhat activist in the sense that they are willing to make new law through totured interpretation of the Constitution. That is why I expressed some concern about the fate of the CCO lawsuit in front of liberal judges. The CCO Case could eventually wind up in front of the US Supreme Court in that case. I don't really see any fair interpretation of either the Florida or the Federal Constitution that would permit the State to avoid paying "just compensation", but people try. I am very saddened by the legal and political barefaced lying that goes on so routinely in the Courts and in the political arena. As OReily of Fox News says, I could never accept a politician who lies regularly about everything. Even Paglia (a liberal) is fed up with the Democratic Establishment.
