Good analogy David.. but you have to add the part where everyone is suspicious about the dealer having extra cards up her sleeve ready to pass to a particular player because she's getting a cut of the winnings.

And for that reason alone, and the inability to get an unbiased count (given what we've seen demonstrated thus far), I would say let the machines decide.
