Also discarded ballots are going to need to be checked. Do they like throw them in the trash and then dig them out again and recount them and throw them in the trash again?

Fine then why is he scared to have the state hand recount?>>>>> spirit, there is no such thing as an accurate vote count, the system itself has got to have at most 96-98% accuracy, this system has not been set-up to handle such a narrow margin, hand counting adds more error into and already imperfect process. i think the key word here is final, maybe the real fair thing given the error inherent in the system, would be to call a vote in a certain narrow margin like this (say less the .2%) a PUSH, and come up with some other system to come up with a decision, however since you need 270 electoral votes per the current system they must make a final judgement based on a final count. dnc just reaching for straws here, why are they so afraid of letting the official recount stand and going with the absentee ballots as making the winner. hand counting votes is absurdity and introduces by a great degree an innaccurate count. when i was a kid i played Gore 1 on 1 basketball, best 2 out of three buys the soda and burgers, after winning 2 games, i sezs u buy u fly, then he sezs the last game didn't count because on the winning shot he was distracted by dimpled Chad and pregnant mrs Chad, who walked by and screamed hello while i was sinking the last shot, he told me we had to go 3 out of 5. sheeeesh -g-
