Jim, I disagree. I don't see how Gore is trying to pull a fast one on Bush. I like the idea of a full manual recount in every county. Yeah, I know, Gore is taking advantage of the PR opportunity by making Bush look like the hypocritical power-hungry type. And yes, the manual recount is rather subjective, but I feel bias can be minimized with vigilant supervision by Republican officials. But I think Bush has the advantage here, and I was hoping that he could take security in that advantage and agree to Gore's proposal. That can help him win more public support which he'll definitely need when (or if) becomes president-elect. Tenchusatsu
