BTW, did you happen to read an article that discussed exactly the law Bush signed in TExas about manual recounts?

No I did not. But there was some discussion about some Texas ballots being a kind where you fill in a circle with a pencil, and if not filled in completely, the optical scanners may miss it.

If there is no surprise in the absentee ballot, Bush win be the bitter winner and I predict any court challenge will lose. However, it may cost the GOP to lose the majority in the house and/or the senate in 2002.
