So you want Clinton to be President for four more years?

Buchanan was making noises about bringing suit because he was not notified of the recount. He was saying Florida law requires that all the parties on the ballot were supposed to be notified, and he wasn't. Wouldn't it be fun if this recount was declared illegal because the minor parties weren't notified.

Nader, Browne and Buchanan have no standing in any recount on account of their marginal vote totals. That would be a senseless drag on the process. Of course if your motive is to obstruct, then it is a fine idea.

Dale: Re: "I think every single ballot in florida should be hand recounted with a committee of 5, one from each major candidate (Bush,Gore,Buchanan,Nader,Browne) deciding on each ballot. That would be fair."

Jimmy Carter said much the same on Larry King's show tonight. Recount the entire state; bring in a blue-ribbon commission, perhaps headed up by Carter and Ford. Hand-count the entire state. That way we'll get true, accurate results.

Makes sense to me.

What we're after here is the truth, not some ex-airline stewardess masquerading as secretary of state telling the nation who the next leader of the free world will be.
