Gore supporters have been looking for a well-dressed man wearing expensive boots and who was seen placing a golf bag in the trunk of a cab before being driven to Palm Beach airport. It was thought the man dumped a package in the trash container at the terminal entrance, but a thorough search found no Gore votes therein. After being apprehended at a hotel near Chicago Ohare field, the man was found to have paper cuts on his left hand, but none had been observed by the crew or fellow passengers on the flight. After cordoning off his apartment in Palm Beach, police found a trail of chads leading to the garage area.
