Chuck: Regarding one Ms. Katherine Harris: She will be the new poster babe of the Republican Party. She will become a household name if Bush steals .. er wins ... the election. You remember all those Farrah Fawcett posters in the '60s? She will have her own poster ... perhaps G. Gordon Liddy will be in the poster blowing smoke out of a gun ... she will have her own fan clubs ... she will overnight get 500 invitations to speak at every right-wing county GOP rubber chicken club in the nation. She will appear on Letterman and Leno's shows. Variety Fair will do a long story on her. She will be photographed with Arnold Schwartzenegger. When elections are roadblocked in the future, the operative term will be they were "Harrised." Why does it offend people that I'm coming down hard on a third-rate political hack? She's a public figure. She's fair game. Why no similar outrage when those of your ilk call our president "a rapist"?
