So you've got one Dem congressman now, and the rest are Republican, along with two GOP senators, right? We got the same setup here in Kentucky. Just one Dem congressman, and he votes GOP about 65% of the time anyway.

Ms. Harris is supposedly going to make a run for the U.S. Senate in '02, I understand. This turn of events certainly will help her in the area of name recognition. Ha ha. Yes, she appears to be holding her own, although she ought to be fielding a few questions from the press, if, for no other reason, than the secretary of state is usually the chief info officer for a state.
