Good evening CIMA
"I am in favor of freedom of choice"
The same thing could have been said by those who endorsed slavery. "Don't like slavery, don't own one" Or "personally, I'm against slavery, but I would never impose my values on someone else". When your "choice" results in the enslavement of another human being, then it becomes everyone's business. Abortion for any other reason than to save the life of the mother is the unjust and willful taking of an innocent human life and by definition is murder. Making me pay for that through my tax dollars is an aberration that adds insult to injury. Abortion is not a medically necessary procedure and imo should not be funded by the taxpayers of this country. Your friend was right about that email, it is nothing but a bigoted attempt to scare people into silence by playing on their fears. I am not at all convinced that Mr Day has the intestinal fortitude to take on the abortion issue but I hope we can at least have a discussion about it in this country. Right now it's a sacred cow, but it's still murder. If you like I could tell you what I really think.:)
