After 3 generations of Republicans in the mid west, I have officially changed my affiliation from GOP to independent. I encourage all others to do the same.

Initially my problems with Bush were relatively minor. I thought he handled himself poorly against McCain who I still give my undying support. This is different because it gives me a clear negative indication of what the GOP stands for.
