The really funny thing and of course the hypocritical thing is that if it was Texas that held the balance, there would be no question of recounts. Hand recounts at that.

If the difference in any election in Texas is less than 10%, then anyone within 10% can request a recount. At their discretion a hand recount at that. No need to show any machine malfunctions either. The only thing is that if it is not a malfunction with the machines then it looks like the requesting party has to pay for it.

Bush's position on this is feeble at best. He was sneering at Al during the campaign about being a liar, yet he has the nerve to say what he did about Florida, when the law in his own state, permits exactly what he decries.
