Yeah, I was counting up the dollars this morning and coming up about $2,000 short. I know I spent 11K on the beast but I could not recall certain items that I threw in.

You just helped me with part of that, I added a Zip Drive along the way because W2K does not support my old CD R/W Drive. It started out simple, just buy the machine for 3K and change. Then I had to up to W2K because of the dual processor. Then I had to up to TS 2000 because of W2K, and then the Zip and now the monitors and on and on.

I wish I could get a Dell tech that was good enough to understand the problems. I still have to run another machine next to this one just because of W2K glitches. For example, QCharts, Omega's PowerEditor, Quicken, and a few other programs do not run here. Meanwhile I have a 5 year-old Mac behind me that, except for some squealing do to a fan that has to be replaced, runs perfect.

Well, the real issue is that if I was going to run Win98 I could have been fine spending $2500. The Dual Processor requires the W2K and so my expenses ballooned as a result. It's one of those fish or cut bait issues. The more $ I throw at it the more reluctant I am to go back to W2K because that would mean I wasted over 8 thousand dollars.

Sort of like being in a bad trade, hoping against hope that the market will come back.
