Hi mph:

I'd reenter here. I'm expecting strength later today and tomorrow into expiry, partly fueled by a short-covering rally as shorts may not want to be holding their positions through the weekend (due to a possible e-word settlement).

it can be done with a stop at 58 or 56. I'm thinking the place to be in this mkt is on the sidelines (or short with tight BTC stops)

Weak hands... too much work to sell, buy, sell... AMCC is a solid company IMO... I think Merill has it wrong (inventory issue is being blow way out of proportion). But then, I bought COHR and took a bath and keep averaging down on GLW.... so WTFDIK. <vbg>

ML is nuts, I am very surprised that they would downgrade AMCC and PMCS. They are pretty well tapped into the networking group and they know that things are not bad in the sector. Could they want a cheaper entry.

I didn't sell my AMCC and I don't plan to.
