Philip,

You are absolutely correct. I am in denial, the economy sucks, the job market has gone capooot, unemployment numbers are reaching new highs, interest rates on new homes have gotten into the middle teens....hmm...maybe I must have my rose colored eyeglasses on. ;o) Ok, enough saracasm. Are you reacting to the market trauma, or looking at pure economic data? Do you see a slowing from record growth or shut down? Can you envision the Fed lowering interest rates come 1st Q '01 to facilate the soft landing? Maybe I am nuts. The "tech bubble" is not bursting....perhaps for those with weak hands or short term investors or those with money in dot-coms. I am not that sort of investor. My time horizon is between 12 and 36 months. We are about 18 months from the peak of the semi cycle as I presently see it. So, I am not going to panic, sling mud at Floridians, or blame it on chards.

Just one man's rose colored opinion....SemiBull
