Reducing friction in high-angle wells

Frictional losses due to torque / drag are the
primary limitation in extending the reach of
many high-angle wells; roller-based technology can provide a

Fascinating article on some 'new' drilling technology.

Got WFT?

OT/Ike....all I said was it was Ike who got us in there in the first place, which you seem to agree with? What did I say that was so wrong it forced your response? Was it the fact that I started my post with the word liberal? <vbg>

Lighten up, Francis!

Precisely. Ho Chi Minh actually wrote the US and the UN immediately after the war, asking for our help with the French. He loved OUR Declaration of Independence and modeled his after it. Millions of lives and billions of dollars later Vietnam has its independence, American business is scrambling to make deals, and Viet kids worship Hollywood. What a horrible waste of human wealth. We should have bombed them with Coke, burgers, movies and tapes, and saved all that blood.
