Don't assume Bush is going to be President.
If the state-wide recount goes now, which looks likely, then it's any man's race, and in the end will be decided by actual votes not arrogant presumptions of victory of obstruction of the democratic process. Florida should be recounted by hand just as the GOP would demand recounts in other states. No difference. This is the only verdict the public will accept now. Totally fair with no tricks. And that fear-mongering about inaccuracies by Baker and Bush is lame and flies in the face of Bush's own law in Texas supporting hand recounts as the best solution in these cases. Bush is in a corner now. He cannot win unless he agrees to the total recount on a bi-partisan basis. Harris has effectively been removed from the process which she should have been from the beginning. Her political career is over. Bush used her and destroyed her.
