Ot jacin - Believe you have Bush and his merry men to thank. Why? 1) 300 votes distinguishes the winner - constitution instructs court decisions in this instance. 2) The secretary of state is republican, and is in line to be ambassador to France if Bush wins. She has done nothing currently but drag on these whole proceedings, including stepping over the court system yesterday evening and declaring Bush the winner. 3) Bush has three times now declared himself president while 49.9% of people think differently in American - apparently only 50.1% of the people's thoughts and opinions matter. ps. new polls show that an entirely new election today would bring about a clear Gore victory.... by a wide margin.
