Uhhh, who's thinking short term now, Sir Lyre? Premarket quotes are more ephemeral than the morning dew <gg>.

Yes. I like the morning dew. It's the best time to play golf.

Sir Lyre has the benefit of being up for breakfast at 7 AM on this side of the pond when it is 10 PM in California. That means, if I'm home between rehearsals, I'm watching European CNBC with Nigel Roberts, Simon Hobbs, Nick Hastings and the unique talents of the entire British team - long before the US team arrives at the office. This is all while you are tucked safe in the King's bed next to Aunt Nancy. I usually do my buying of shares in off hours because I like the challenge of the open auction system and I have to take off to evening rehearsal (which starts in about 30 minutes from now). Otherwise I simply set a limit order and hope it gets picked up during the day (which is evening here) at my bargain price.

Mrs. Lyre had some monthly income from her job ready to be deployed this week and I chose network application companies Siebel, i2 and BEA Systems earlier during the Monday blues. Choice of club for the shot on Wednesday was to use the power of the limit order of $74 for NTAP just to see if anyone would nibble yesterday. I see this AM that it was credited in her account - so somebody allowed my wife to have her limit nibbled. <ggg> These were all additional purchases for her long term horizon.
