I know you don't think a whole lot of Gore's team, but answer me this: Why would they be so crazy as to try and steal the election in a state where their opponent's brother is the Governor, and the Bush co-chairman is the Secy. of State with responsibility over the election.

IF theft were on that team's mind, I would think they would have tried to do it in MO or even TN, where they had a little more clout.

BTW, I always hear Rush pronounce "Al Gore" as if it is one word, with emphasis on the first syllable(ALgore). Noticing that you spelled his name as one word, I wonder if there is some hidden meaning to that.
