Yes, this would seem troubling. However, I understood Crowe originally said he received a "bill for speaking at Gilder's conference." A solicitation for sponsorship is something quite different in my mind....certainly not a bill! HUMMM???? Actually, I am more interested in his claims regarding inaccurate info. I am investigating Crowe's statement refuting Gilder's claim that 360networks has lit 10,000 of its 20,000 route miles in North America with 160 NT/AVNX waves at 10 Gbps. Crowe claims this technology is not available until late 2001. I hope to get a call back on that sometime today. ljm
