Nick. So right you are to the tune of many trillions in unfunded liabilities. always makes me laugh when I here the righteous Pols talkin about a surplus. Since you comprehend that try this dirty little fact. In the 80's the fed receipts did double but 2/3 was due to payroll taxes. To me that means the lower wage guys have taken it in the ass. It sickens me to think Rep's don't get this, it is a fount of potential voter support to cut payroll taxes. GW is getting close with his proposal. I would make a serious national issue of the payroll tax, quit calling it social security since no one's future is really secure.
