Hi Rick, OTOT Communication chips Cos

I am willing to pay a bit more for BRCM as it is the leader of the pack with lower beta and higher entry barriers for its product mix. I think the low $150s is about as low as BRCM would get from the perspective of an intermediate term, barring some real disasters such as congressional gridlock on the presidential election, which remains only a very remote possibility.

The recently announced deal between BRCM and GTW (Gateway) will greatly enhance BRCM's consumer interface, and I am willing to give the stock an "infinitely" far horizon (like I did Q*) until the story changes.

I also own PMCS, CNXT and RFMC (relative weighting), all good stocks in the same space but with less appealing trading dynamics - meaning a much higher proportion of retail daytraders partaking. I usually assign a discount to these characteristics in my own stock evaluation exercises.

Regards,
Ibexx

PS: I don't- and won't - have sell stops on stocks such as BRCM. On SAWS....yes. I took a 3-day ride from $44 to $58.
