Each electronic count gave a different result. But neither electronic recount resulted in significant enough changes to give Gore the election. Bush is not responsible for the decision to use butterfly ballots. A democrat is... (one, who coincidentally denied ANY KIND OF RECOUNT to a republican candidate who lost by a mere 13 votes several months ago) If they don't desire this kind of confusion in the future, they must change their voting mechanism...
