agreed, Nick.. strong similarities with 1994

that year saw spontaneous combustion LaborDay rally though
that rally came out of recessionary long sleep
that rally finally got legs in January95
and it had no national election
Mexico problems and NAFTA confused matters

here now we have a long expansion
many fear it is almost at end of cycle
so the revival will take a while
we have more productivity machinery by a long shot
e.g. internet, communications, broadband, retooled OldEcon
the final stimulus is likely to be both new leader and new Fed cycle
