You have to understand, he didn't lie, he just didn't tell the truth when given opportunities to do so. To use a phrase popular on this thread, that sounds kind of Clintonesque. Of course, the reporter from the Dallas Morning News has a different view, that GW affirmatively answered no when asked if he had been arrested since the '60's.
