Bosnian politicians take leaf out of Gore's book

SARAJEVO, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Bosnian politicians unhappy with the partial results of last week"s general elections have taken a leaf out of Al Gore"s book -- they want a recount. The Muslim Party of Democratic Action called for a hand count, casting doubt on the accuracy of the scanners used by the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), which ran Bosnia"s third post-war general elections. The Croatian Democratic Union party asked the OSCE on Thursday evening to stop counting votes, saying there was a discrepancy between the figures coming from the OSCE"s counting centre and those from local elections commissions.
