DJ Exodus Communications Sees 2001 Cap Spending $800M-$1B
WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--Exodus Communications Inc.'s (EXDS) capital expenditures for
2001 are expected to total between $800 million and $1 billion, the company said in a
filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday.
The company expects 2001 revenue to total about $1.9 billion, according to the filing.
The company last month reported that it expected about $1.8 billion in revenue for fiscal
2001.
As previously reported, the company said it expects a net loss of 10% to 13% of
revenue, or between $190 million and $247 million.
In addition, Exodus predicts that its EBITDA margin for 2001 will total between $361
million and $418 million, and its gross margin will total between 36% and 39% of revenue.
Exodus also provided the 2001 financial outlook to analysts at its investor day held
Friday.
Exodus, based in Santa Clara, Calif., provides Internet system and network management
software for companies with Internet operations.
