> are they going to release 1.5 at launch at least? Yeah, they're pulling the old familiar "Hey, look, we're faster than our own projections!" trick that AMD did fifteen months ago. The impression I get is volume availability will really start in Q1. I guess it's possible we could still get a Q1 announcement of 1.7GHz with volumes expected in Q2. Still, I find it immensely amusing that both AMD and Intel simultaneously pushed everything in their roadmaps back a quarter. In the words of an ex-IA-64 dude that I know, "I'm guessing that people at both companies are sighing with relief ;)".     -JC
