OK, so what is Gore being raked through the mud for? There has been mention of "I didn't know it was a fundraiser" which is (a) not 25 years ago, and (b) ludicrous. His boss Slick has certanly had his share of raking. But most of that focussed on a little incident in the oval office not so long ago. There might be an argument that was personal (It sure was!) but it happened in the Oval Office, not in the private quarters of the WH, and it happened during the working day. Saying you get a pass for old minor incidents isn't the same as saying everything always is excused.
