There Must Not Be Much Retail Money In This Market

This really is a different market. The MUFU's have little incentive to have the stocks go down.

Its obvious that the only thing keeping this POS up is bidding up the futures and the MUFU's propping up the stocks.

Given the type of YTD loss and volatility it would be expected that daily swings such as today would themselves be more volatile. That is not the case.

The moves are all organized, and there is always someone on the bid.

The driving force behind most action is not the fundamentals of the stocks but the derivative plays and the quarterly fund reports.

Wait until people try to get the value that they are being shown in their statements out of the market. Talk about Ho Ho Ho.

The funds should have to disclose when and at what price they bought the stocks.

Would someone tell me who was buying BRCD at 227 all day today. I guess its not possible that the type of hit that JNPR or BRCM, or many of the other stocks that are hot today and dead tomorrow could happen to BRCD.

If this market were a casino it would be closed down as being totally corrupt. It has to be the largest financial scam ever conducted.

I this is not a matter of sour grapes. I did "just fine" today, thank you.

No change in guidance going forward. Guess the market was looking for some positive juju. In case you didn't hear,
Florida Supreme Court weighed in before allowing the recounts to continue. This will hamstring the market tomorrow as Bush was the preferred winner with the absentee ballots probably increasing his small lead. With PBC, dade and Broward recounting, there is a strong chance that Gore will overtake him. I think the results get appealed by the Bush team as "unconstitutional" due to the prejudiced democratic weighted counties being recounted. They will ask for a statewide recount by hand (6 million) and will probably get it. From there, who knows, Florida's electoral votes probably don't make the Dec12th deadline and Congress appoints the next prez through a vote. What a joke.
