Alan, I agree, but there is one guy TSC who is worth reading, and that's Todd Harrison. He's actually on the TheStreet.com's sister site, RealMoney.com.

Todd is a trader at Cramer-Berk. Rather than pontificate about the overarching 50,000-foot view like JC does, this guy is makin' trades -- and he posts three- to five-paragraph market snippets about every 15 minutes to a half hour, including the pre and aftermarket. He just rambles about what he sees with big order flow, how he's playing the bounces, whether or not he is (or is seeing big money) selling into rallies at resistance, which indices he's watching for the tells, whether (in his opinion) the day is just not worth gaming because it's edgeless, AND, most importantly, what his actual positions are (long CSCO calls, SHORT the Q's, etc.) in real time (sort of, if you can call 15 minute-delayed commentary real time).

But I'll tell you, it's really quite good stuff and has helped me game a move more than once. I keep a browser window on his remarks that autorefreshes. It's like sitting in a hedgie office and listening to the banter. It's the only thing I use of the TheStreet.com, but I think it's worth it. The feature is called Todd Harrison's Trading Diary.

I mean, just seeing the phrase: "Everyone's brother -- myself included -- is selling CSCO into these little mini-rallies, and I'm only hedging it a bit. And if the NDX breaks 2950 support, that game is over for the afternoon and we'll have to find someone else to play with. I am short CSCO puts, long the Q's -- for now." is worth the $20 a month or whatever it is. I just made that paragraph up, but that's what it's like. Check it out.

I've also e-mailed him several times intraday and he is a prompt and thoughtful responder. Seems like a legitimately nice guy.
