In her response, Harris said, the Florida Supreme Court "has no jurisdiction" to allow Palm Beach County to begin a recount.

Dan,

I am not surprised by her response.....she has everything to gain by pushing this issue hard.

Dan,

She said there was no need to decide between her opinion and Butterworth's
because Florida law provides her opinion "is binding upon the board" and the
court must defer to her opinion.

In most legal interpretations, the Secretary of State is one step above the Supreme Court, when it comes to interpreting the law.

I'm surprised she hasn't overturned Roe vs. Wade yet.
