Might not have been an earthquake, but it did some serious damage

No doubt the traders were hurt but the LTB&H crowd saw opportunities galore.

The real estate vs. equities arguments are ultimately based on perceived valuations. I don't live in a city where real estate is prohibitively expensive but I do hear from people who live in SF. The stories remind me of the Twilight Zone, Tulip Mania and .com fever at their worst. Absolutely insane.

The SF real estate bubble is too obvious a phenomenon to me. I wouldn't buy a $2,000,000 2500 sq. ft. fixer-upper if you held a gun to my head.
