I think this was the same book fair that Elvis was signing his latest book, and ALgore was seen in a pink chiffon gown and a powder blue wig. Tipper was on the dance floor doing the bump with JJJakson.

If they hand-count those 3 counties only, it's almost guaranteed that Gore will be ahead by several hundred votes...maybe not enough to offset the overseas ballots....if they hand-count the entire state, nobody knows for sure, but my guess is Bush would win if consistent standards are applied to the recount in each county, especially since over 25,000 ballots were rejected in Duval, which is heavily Republican.....Does anybody know which way the elderly ended up voting, in general....I think a lot of the rejected ballots could be from elderly, but I don't know if that would tend to give more re-counted votes to Bush or Gore....probably varies from county to county.....

Jimbo.

Thanks for that. I don't think that anyone would agree that recounting 3 Dem counties and skipping the rest of the state would be fair, if that's where this ends up.
